Dona Jai has always been immersed in music, from early piano training to a deep appreciation for melody, structure, and emotion. Alongside that passion, she developed a love for writing, drawn to the way the right words can capture a feeling that otherwise goes unspoken.
Over time, those two passions naturally came together through songwriting. Blending influences from R&B, alt-R&B, and hip-hop, her writing explores themes of love, vulnerability, confidence, and human connection.
